Sankey Chart Report

This article explains what the Sankey Chart is and how to use it in Forefront.

The Sankey Chart shows how the same cohort of students performs on multiple data points. This report type requires at least two entities, and you can click and drag entities into the desired order.

Use this report type to understand how student performance shifts between data points and identify patterns in student progress.

Use the data table below the sankey chart to see how many students achieved each possible outcome and which students they are. For example, the first row in the table below shows that Javier Murphey is the only student who earned an Advanced score on all three assessments.

Report Usage Tip

Entities can be assessments, questions from assessments, and standards. Dig deeper into student performance patterns and changes by exploring different entity options.
